ABOUT THIS BLOG

This blog-site is created to help Community Service and Civic Organizations post information on projects for student volunteers from University of Cincinnati to fulfill their coop requirements. It is edited by Honors Students from the university. To post a blog requesting volunteers students to fulfill coop requirements for your organization, please click on the comments link below and/or type specific information about the project for which you need volunteers in the comment box. Kennedy Heights Arts center

The Kennedy Heights Arts center is a non-profit arts organization whose mission is to enhance the life of the surrounding communities through the arts. The art center is in need of a volunteer to help with the marketing of the arts center and it's programming.


Volunteer Opportunity for Coop Students majoring in marketing or communication who are able to volunteer at the art center on a part time basis. Hours are flexible .

This is a growing arts organization and the volunteer will be doing hands on marketing projects including assisting with the writing of our email newsletter, developing promotional flyers,email announcements and helping with our website,as well as developing media contacts in the area etc. For more information contact Ilene Hayes ilene@kennedyarts.org or call 513-631-4278. The James A. Ramage Civil War Museum

The Mission of The James A. Ramage Civil War Museum is to inform visitors about the defense of Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati during the Civil War and how the community came together to defend the area during this critical period in our nation's history. The Museum preserves and interprets Northern Kentucky's unique role in the Civil War through archaeology, education and research. The Museum also informs visitors about the history of the City of Fort Wright and its neighboring communities.

The Museum needs volunteers who like serving the community, the Civil War, local history or who just want something new and fun to do to help us. We have several opportunities for volunteers, including staffing the museum and greeting guests, helping run our special events, working on special educational programs and more.
