Kennedy Heights Arts center

The Kennedy Heights Arts center is a non-profit arts organization whose mission is to enhance the life of the surrounding communities through the arts. The art center is in need of a volunteer to help with the marketing of the arts center and it's programming.


Volunteer Opportunity for Coop Students majoring in marketing or communication who are able to volunteer at the art center on a part time basis. Hours are flexible .

The James A. Ramage Civil War Museum

The Mission of The James A. Ramage Civil War Museum is to inform visitors about the defense of Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati during the Civil War and how the community came together to defend the area during this critical period in our nation's history. The Museum preserves and interprets Northern Kentucky's unique role in the Civil War through archaeology, education and research. The Museum also informs visitors about the history of the City of Fort Wright and its neighboring communities.

The Museum needs volunteers who like serving the community, the Civil War, local history or who just want something new and fun to do to help us. We have several opportunities for volunteers, including staffing the museum and greeting guests, helping run our special events, working on special educational programs and more.

Ohio Alleycat Resource

The Ohio Alleycat Resource is a 501(c)(3) volunteer-run organization. We promote non-lethal population control for feral cat colonies. In particular we practice Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). We also offer low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter services for cats, currently on a monthly basis.

OAR also lends traps and gives advice on TNR to the public and runs a small rescue with adoptable cats and kittens.

We are looking for volunteers to do cat care and socialization in the rescue, participate in public education about TNR, work on fundraising projects, and work in the spay/neuter clinic.

We require a 1-hour volunteer orientation for all new volunteers. For information about volunteering, students can visit:

Project Connect - Volunteers Needed

Project Connect provides educational services to children and youth experiencing homelessness. Children ages 5-12 will participate in an 8 week summer camp.

• Create visually appealing DVD with focus on awareness for Project Connect and Faces without Places
• Create and continuously update PC blog and Faces without Places website to include summer camp activities
• Create and update video links for Faces without Places website

Findlay Market Organization 1

We Provide Community Service in form of a Fresh Produce Market to Local Merchants and Shoppers in Over-the-Rhine Community.

Project Needs- Food-Stamp- Token Dispenser - Electrical - Mechanical Dispenser- Automating the dispensing of food stamp tokens would make the service

more convenient and discrete for the customer and less expensive for our farmers market. Food stamp shoppers could buy tokens whenever the market is open from a machine rather than from a person. The Corporation would not have to staff a cashiering station as it does now during some farmers market hours of operation. There are several manufacturers of token dispensing machinery for the arcade, golf course, car wash, and coin-op laundry industries. Some of that machinery is designed to accept payment by credit card but, at this time, none will accept payment by debit or other cards requiring PIN number authorization. We are continuing to investigate after-market modification of a token dispensing machine for the farmers market EBT program.

One Way Farm is a home for abused and disabled children. It serves annually thousands of children- Located in Fairfield area North of Cincinnati.

• Mechanical Electrical Engineering- Assessing energy needs and researching systems and methods to cut on energy cost.
